Packaging of Black Matpe (Urad Dal):

When exporting black matpe (Urad Dal) from India, it is vital to ensure that the packaging preserves the legume’s quality, freshness, and nutritional value throughout its journey. Our packaging solutions are meticulously designed to meet the rigorous demands of international markets, ensuring that the black matpe arrives in optimal condition.

Standard Export Packaging Options:

  • Poly-Lined Jute Bags:
    • Weight: Typically 25 kg or 50 kg.
    • Details: These jute bags are lined with a food-grade polyethylene layer, providing excellent protection against moisture, pests, and contamination. The poly-lining ensures that the black matpe retains its natural quality and freshness during transit.
  • Carton Boxes:
    • Weight: 5 kg, 10 kg, or 20 kg.
    • Details: Black matpe is also packed in smaller poly-lined carton boxes for additional protection. These boxes are ideal for clients requiring smaller, easily manageable quantities, offering convenience in handling and distribution while maintaining the quality of the product.
  • Vacuum-Sealed Bags:
    • Weight: Typically available in 5 kg and 10 kg packs.
    • Details: For premium-grade black matpe, vacuum-sealed packaging is employed to lock in freshness and extend shelf life. This method is particularly favored in high-end markets where maintaining the product’s quality is crucial, as it prevents exposure to air and moisture.
  • Multi-Layered Polypropylene Bags:
    • Weight: Commonly 25 kg or 50 kg.
    • Details: These bags are composed of multiple layers of polypropylene, offering superior protection against moisture and environmental factors. This packaging is ideal for long-distance transportation, ensuring that the black matpe remains in optimal condition throughout the journey.

Container Capacity Overview:

  • 20-Foot Container:
    • Capable of holding approximately 17 to 19 metric tons of black matpe, depending on the packaging type and arrangement.
  • 40-Foot Container:
    • Capable of holding approximately 28 to 32 metric tons of black matpe, providing more space for larger shipments.
