An export house on the Saurashtra coast
Buddha Overseas is a merchant exporter of Indian food products, based in Veraval, Gujarat and established in 2024. We supply spices, dehydrated vegetables, fruit and botanical powders, pulses, grains and nuts to importers, distributors and food manufacturers — in bulk, in retail packs, and under buyers' own labels.
Who we are
What Buddha Overseas does
We are a merchant exporter. We do not own farms or processing plants: we buy from audited, food-grade processors, many of them within a few hours of the office, and we carry everything between the processor's floor and your port — the specification, the testing, the packing, the inspection and the paperwork.
That model is a deliberate choice. It lets us put the right processor on each product rather than steering every buyer toward the one line we happen to own, and it means we are judged on the suppliers we keep.

Where we are
Veraval, and the belt behind it
Veraval is a port town on the Saurashtra coast of Gujarat. The address matters commercially, not sentimentally: a large part of what we sell is grown and processed within a day's drive of it.
Gujarat is India's leading state for cumin, psyllium and groundnut. The dehydration cluster around Mahuva, a few hours up the same coast, processes most of India's dehydrated onion and garlic. Containers leave through Mundra and Pipavav, both in Gujarat, or through Nhava Sheva when the sailing suits a buyer's port better.
Being close to the processors is what lets us stand on the floor while an order is packed, draw samples from the lot that will actually ship, and stop a consignment that does not look right.

Private label
Your brand on the pack and your artwork on the label, with your specification written into the contract behind it.
Blends to an agreed recipe
Masala and seasoning blends made to a recipe you supply, at the grind and the colour value you specify.
Testing and certification
Analysis at third-party accredited laboratories, with the official certificates your destination requires. We do not run our own lab.
Shipping
FOB, CFR or CIF (Incoterms® 2020) from any major Indian port; FCA and DAP on request. Typically 15–25 days after advance or L/C.
Trial quantities
1,000 kg per product and mixed containers, so a first order can be a handful of products rather than one at full volume.

The specification is the contract
Grade, moisture, admixture, mesh and colour value go into the proforma invoice, and the lot is tested against that document — not against anyone's memory of a sample.
Your market's limits, not India's
Where a destination applies stricter limits than Indian food law, those are the limits in the contract, on the test report and in the goods.
One desk, start to finish
An enquiry, a quotation, a loading photograph and a complaint all reach the same people. Nobody is handed between a sales contact and an operations contact.
A straight no when we are the wrong supplier
If we cannot cover a volume, hold a certification or meet a market's limits, you are told at enquiry rather than at the border.
